This original weaving is accompanied by a certificate hand numbered and signed by the artist.

When framed, this piece is hand stitched to an archival backing board matching the frame color, then floated in 1 1/2 inch  deep lacquered wood moulding.

Artist Statement

Ricki Dwyer is an artist and educator based in San Francisco. Focused on sculpture and weaving he received his BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2011. Since then he has been selected as artist in residency for The White Page gallery in Minneapolis, the Textile Arts Center in Brooklyn, and Jupiter Woods gallery of London. Currently Ricki is teaching collaborative weaving at the new Black Mountain School in Black Mountain, North Carolina.
