The past few years of my research on contemporary fiction and historical memoir have made a strong impact on how I make connections between nature and photography. My most recent works, shot in Minnesota and Illinois, began as photographic experiments and creative interventions with surface textures. They have become investigations into how nature continues to inspire moments of personal reflection and discovery.
